Filling out: Job applications

You want to know what happiness is? It's waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, shifting under the blankets and feeling the heat of the person next to you. You turn around and see them in their most peaceful, innocent, and vulnerable state. They breathe as though the weight of the world lays on anyone's shoulders but their own. You smile, kiss their face in the most gentle manner so as not to wake them. You turn back around and an involuntary grin forms on your own face. You feel an arm wrap around your waist and you know it doesn't get any better than this.

I'm a few months away from turning 21 years old and I have finally found a man who does this for me.
How about you guys? Have you ever experienced this with anyone?

hahaha sorry, I guess I've just been in a relationship for awhile :P It truly is one of the best feelings though.. everyone should get to experience what you just described!! <3

I read your post and experienced a good feeling. But then I noticed that most of the comments spoke of having lost such relationships and how they miss them. It's sad that we are now in a cycle of short relationships. But there is hope that we will cycle back to lasting relationships again.
I am in one that has lasted over sixty years so far. I'm happy for you and yours, and here's wishing you the best. (I still sometimes wake up and experience the feelings you describe.)

This is so sweet, Katie! I'm glad you found someone you love so much. I know the feeling and you described it well. I've been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years. He's been at his dad's for the past month and I miss him like crazy! When you get used to being with someone everyday, you can take things like that for granted sometimes--like being able to sleep next to them. I can't wait to see him again. I agree that everyone should experience this. It's a great feeling :)
